Back 2 Soundhouse!

This coming Saturday 14 March The SoundHouse will be hosting their first public event of 2015.

At this event, students from 9 to 17 years of age will learn to compose and record a simple song.

The teacher, Cherie Barnado, is a U.C.T. Music studies graduate. She specializes in composition and music theory. The SoundHouse has top class facilities, powered by Paul Bothner Music.There are 15 fully equipped computer workstations, each with a MIDI keyboard controller and music software. Each workstation is dual platform, running either the Windows or Mac operating systems, and includes a drum pad module and a microphone. The venue also houses a PA system, a Roland electronic drum kit, an electric guitar, a bass guitar, and amps. Students will work with GarageBand music software. The workshop is limited to 30 attendees and costs R50 per student.Contact: James at Paul Bothner Music.
