Bothners Sales Consultant - Plumstead

We are looking for a hardworking, experienced, motivated and energetic Sales Executive, with a bulletproof knowledge of Audio, Studio and Music Technology to join our Plumstead Superstore Team.

Duties

“We Power Music” from the classroom to the stage.  As a Sales Executive, you will be in direct contact with customers and as such, will be required to deliver excellent customer service, with a passion for all Audio, Studio and Music Technology related products. 

If you’ve ever been called a “hi-tech/studio guru”– then this is the gig for you!

It is essential that the candidate be proficient in sales with a good working knowledge of a broad range of Audio, Studio and Musical equipment, with specific strength/focus on software and related products. 

If your knowledge and experience with Hi-tech and Studio are part of your “pick up line”, then we want to hear from you.

Applicants must be:

Knowledge and Skillset

It is essential that you are knowledgeable in music, the South African music industry, having a good and broad working knowledge of musical instruments ranging from stage to studio applications as well beginner to advanced/Pro – with an expert level knowledge in all things hi-tech and audio related.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Previous experience in a retail or a sales environment is preferential.
  • A relevant Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous, but not required.

Duties

As a Sales Consultant, you will be in direct contact with customers and as such, will be required to deliver excellent customer service.

It is essential that the candidate be proficient in sales with a good working knowledge of a broad range of musical instruments, with specific strength/focus on guitar and other fretted instruments.  Knowledge and skill of all things keys related would be highly beneficial.

Music Education Liaison - Gauteng

We are looking for a hardworking, experienced, motivated and energetic Liaison and Account Manager to join our Gauteng Team and will be based at either our Centurion & Johannesburg Branches. 

Duties:

As a Liaison and Account Manager your focus will be to engaging and canvassing “Musical Education Institutions” & “House of Worship” networking to ensure that our clients’ needs are understood and satisfied by building, maintaining and managing the client relationship, accumulating market information, build a church database and ensuring that our company’s collective offerings meet the individual needs of clients and the house of worship market/industry.

Job Deliverables/Outputs

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers in the house of worship industry & MI education institutions.
  • Provide a steady stream of leads, contacts and sales
  • Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in personal meetings
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics and industry trends
  • Build, maintain and develop education and house of worship database
  • Update job and product knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitor and analyse customer's usage of our product
  • Responsible for working with the internal branch sales team (via branch manager) to on-board and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams
  • Regular biweekly reporting to you direct superior
  • Collect, track, and analyse industry developments, trends and data
  • Complete and management the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing and following up
