Evans Drumhead 13″ Genera Dry Coated

The Genera is a 10mil single-ply with the fat spread of a double-ply. A 2mil overtone control ring on the underside controls excessive overtones, promotes a shorter sound, and equalizes tuning. The addition of small vents around the perimeter of the dry version eliminate additional overtones and create a more focused sound. Evans Genera Dry snare heads feature a single ply of 10mil film in combination with a 2mil overtone control ring on the underside that “floats” with the head, eliminating excessive overtones and controlling sustain. Precision-drilled dry vents around the perimeter of the head further reduce overtones and sustain.
